[CommLink] Local Fauna + Recipes?

 Umm...so I noticed that there's some books about some of the plantlife here in the library, and some of the plants that didn't look familiar at all are edible!  So I was wondering - does anyone have favorite recipes, or things they like to eat?

I thought it'd be a good idea to get used to the wildlife in this strange world, and this is just one way to start.  

Oh!  And there's a plant to the southeast that tries to wrap itself around you, but this book describes how to handle it, and how to harvest it!  Apparently it's very nutritious despite that.

Oh my, I don't seem to have met you yet!

My name is Robin. I have been in armies and marches, and after so many days of kitchen duty, you get a good feel for what is edible and what is not. Not to mention I have read almost all the books on local fauna already.

I've...never been in an army, but cooking can be fun. Um...isn't that bridge guarded? I'll come if you'd like me to, but I don't think I'll be able to cross your bridge.

Which location do you feel most comfortable in, Komori? Witchlight Forest will likely be a bit too dangerous.

Did you ever come across the cottage covered in flowers that looks like it's from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves?

It's in the forest to the south of Emptiness but it's kind of hidden inside the forest itself. There's a tiny path that leads to it that's easy to miss - you have to notice a tiny gap between some rose bushes and squeeze through, but then you're in the cottage's yard and it's full of flowers; even the rooftop has flowers blooming from vines! It's a little two-story cottage.

If you've seen it, how about we meet there?

To be honest, I haven't seen the place you are referring to, but I'm sure I could find it if I was given the required time to look. Well, whoever happens to arrive first can set a pot of boiling water, right? Stews are generally safer and easier as a starter dish as long as you don't burn yourself.
